The Fountain Plaza adopts the cadmium telluride photovoltaic floor tile building material product developed and produced by ASP. This product has been applied in multiple photovoltaic circuit projects, and its waterproofing, safety, power generation capacity, and stability have been fully verified by the market and time.
In addition to the exquisite and gorgeous lighting effects at night, the most magical feature of the Fountain Plaza is the placement of cadmium telluride power generation glass products under the water feature, becoming an important component of the water feature. This is also the biggest challenge and difficulty of the project. On the one hand, there is a high requirement for the waterproof performance of photovoltaic products, and on the other hand, there are waterproofing difficulties during the construction process.
This project is a landscape project jointly developed by ASP and China Architecture Design and Research Institute. It is considered the first underwater photovoltaic application project in China and perhaps the world's first!
