The glass walkway at the origin of Chongqing Grand View is the first photovoltaic glass walkway in China. According to the photovoltaic glass walkway, 96 pieces of rainbow cadmium telluride photovoltaic glass produced by ASP are spliced together, with a total length of 63 meters and a total area of about 212 square meters. The largest piece of photovoltaic glass is 1.3 meters wide, 1.75 meters long, 40 mm thick, and weighs more than 200 kilograms. Under the sunlight, the rainbow photovoltaic glass walkway presents different colors with different viewing angles. Standing on the boardwalk, tourists can also overlook the natural and pastoral scenery of the Ecological Grand View Garden.
The photovoltaic glass walkway is the first patterned transparent color photovoltaic power glass walkway in China. Different from other ordinary glass walkway, this photovoltaic glass walkway adopts a specially made cadmium telluride film rainbow power generation glass, which is safe and solid, good at weak light power generation, low in temperature coefficient, small in hot spot effect, etc., and is covered with a rainbow pattern of nano coating on the surface, which can form a color gradient effect when sunlight passes through the glass.
The photovoltaic glass walkway is another innovative application of ASP's cadmium telluride photovoltaic power generation glass building materials in the building photovoltaic integration project, which shows us a beautiful picture of the perfect integration of cadmium telluride photovoltaic building materials and buildings.
