The efficiency of ASP 3”x 3” experimental module reached 13.29%.

The efficiency of ASP thin-film module was listed in the famous PIP list in Jan. 2011. ASP became the first Chinese PV company whose efficiency record was recognized by the list. In addition, the first fully automatic CdTe thin film module production line with an annual capacity of 25MW had been completed. The technologies and equipments that were used in this line are fully-owned intellectual properties of ASP.

In 2013, The efficiency of ASP'S 1200mmx600mm module reached 12.05%. ASP's products passed the certification of UL and CQC.

ASP joined the 863 Program supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China. ASP set up a new Joint-Venture with Soltech of Sweden to invest in the commercial distributed solar power plants in China. Both the massive production operation and marketing operations of ASP entered a much faster development phase.

In February, the efficiency of ASP’s CdTe cell was measured at 17.33% by National Renewable Energy Laboratory of USA which had set a new ASP’s own record. ASP has signed letters of intent with state-owned enterprises from Hubei, Shanxi provinces, in continuing the effort of CdTe thin-film module production capacity expansion. ASP and the Zhejiang Energy Group, together has carried out the ASP’s very first strategic investment plan. The uniqueness of ASP’s BIPV architectural components were rapidly recognized by customers from all over the world, and in result of that, both production and utilization of these products have been increased dramatically world-wide.
